Well, it was a good learning experience, but I just realized that my WolfPAC FB page is redundant. During the process of finding this out I also found numerous other redundant FB pages for various other states. Also saw some focusing on municipalities within those states.
Seems that there is a lot of duplication of effort going on here. Perhaps this could all be coordinated in some way. I received an email requesting assistance in setting up a FB page for my state. I searched on FB and when I didn't find one so I went to work. Unfortunately, searching for these pages on FB is rather problematic, it almost seems as if FB is purposely trying to hide this stuff. One problem is that "WolfPAC" in its various instantiations is used for by many other folks, mostly for sports teams and the like.
There is even a redundant WolfPAC mothership FB page, which appears innocuous. I finally realized that the "official" Wolf PAC FB mothership page is the de facto clearinghouse for established state WolfPAC FB pages. Those that aren't chosen by the mothership should perhaps relinquish any claims to priority and join up with those that are. This could eliminate a good deal of confusion and perhaps save others the trouble I went through in the hopes of putting something out there for the folks in my state.

I agree. Although I think that duplicate pages with very few members that were not endorsed by the main WolfPAC page will involuntarily relinquish any claim on the official state page. People will naturally flock to the one with more members as it's more established.
All things considered, I don't think it'll be a problem. Right? Although, pages for municipals are a bit weird. That's probably something we should leave to Cenk and the rest of TYT to address. Pages for larger cities, I would think, should be okay.

Lam, It's only a problem in that you end up with a lot of people who want to help out spinning their wheels and getting frustrated. Not such a big deal for me since I was interested in exploring that particular FB capability anyway and not so much in organizing. I expect most of the others producing redundant pages probably won't be as relieved as I am to cede priority. Hopefully, this won't turn into a competitive situation that could end up fragmenting some of the groups.

I understand the confusion everyone is having. When I first joined in, there were very few involved. I don't think there was a clear or defined direction, just an idea. It's going to take some time and organization to get everything moving forward and together. Hopefully, we can retain our patience.

Hi Everyone, I'm not sure if I'm missing anything (I might be), but this doesn't need to be a "problem" at all looking at it from a network topography perspective. FB and Twitter naturally facilitate this. Simple Rule: If the FB or twitter account is being followed by WolfPAChq, then you know it's an account that's in mutually agreed contact with the network hub. Pruning the network: If it's NOT followed by WolfPAChq, then YOU should inform the account holder that they should confirm with WolfPAChq about whether they need to continue with that account or just join another already existing agreed-upon account for that state or larger-city. You should probably also CC that message to WolfPAChq. If many people searching and browsing FB and twitter does the above, then the duplications of effort should quickly go away and the bulk of momentum can start to be with the agreed upon state and larger-city accounts. And of course all agreed upon FB and twitter account holders need to be informed of the directory of accounts here. When that directory is complete it should of course be published on the Wolf-PAC home page. That way no interested person needs to search for those accounts. As for the duplicate accounts which for whatever reason insist on continuing could be asked to prominently present in their profile/info area a link to a WolfPAChq agreed-upon account for that area. Whatever personal reason they might have for existing as a supplement, if they agree with the Wolf PAC cause, they should have no problem agreeing to do that. Getting this done 100% doesn't need to be slow nor rest entirely on the shoulders of WolfPAChq if at least many of us do the above. P.S. And of course go to lengths to be polite in doing this so no one takes it the wrong way. We're just trying to consolidate and organize. It's great to see all this happening. A great morning to every one
