.....
Below is a snipped quote from the "nothing breeds success like success" thread in this section:
<snip>
Seeing people at rallies and protests with "WolfPAC" signs.
<snip>
The talk of getting more "Wolf PAC" signs out there in the protests got me thinking. I think that Wolf PAC is a great name, I love what it implies and it is a great rallying call. It should be used at protests, BUT I don't think we want to devolve into throwing it around somewhat like a "brand name".
For example: If you have a protest sign that says something like "Stop Buying Our Politicians" which then has "Wolf-PAC.com" at the bottom, that's fine IMO. If you have a sign with mainly "Wolf PAC" in GIANT letters, then it comes across like a "brand". Obviously it's not the intent, but if it's presented in a brand-like way, then for some people it's off putting.
It's an honest mistake because we do feel like part of a team and there's a great sense of purpose in this team, but we're not a football team
People can be very different and can be more likely to find an identifying slogan like "We the People... yada yada" interest provoking instead of something like "Join the Wolf PAC".
So all I'm saying is, obviously this project needs a name and slogan that identifies it and personally I think "Wolf PAC" describes our determination and collective focused action (not theory) brilliantly, but lets not devolve to throwing it around like a brand. We have to remember that it won't sound like an awesome name to everybody and over emphasis of it (signs with mostly just Wolf PAC in huge letters) can take away from the actual plan and call to ACTION that we support.
So again I'm NOT against the name nor use of it. I love it. (read the 2nd paragraph again).
If you think I'm wrong, then PLEASE vote with your reply and disagree and/or amend. I don't care about being right. I care about what Wolf-PAC aims to achieve.
