This forum update is to tell you all that guests, which are people who have not registered with the forum, will now be able to post and create threads in most boards to encourage more ideas and feedback on our efforts to write amendments and organize. Of course, there will still be some restrictions which I will outline below along with the rest of the changes. - Guests cannot post in boards under the "Supreme Law of the Land" category. The right to petition the staff to redress grievances and offer suggestions to the forum will be reserved for members.
- Guests will be allowed to comment/post in the "Constitutional Convention" category, but will not be allowed to create polls or threads. The right to make a motion to change our amendments and vote on said changes will be reserved for members.
- Guests will, however, be allowed to create threads and reply to them in the "Other Issues" section.
- Guests will be allowed to do everything a member can do in the "Free Speech" category, except vote in and create polls because that couldn't be changed even if I wanted it to.
Obviously, if spam becomes a problem, we'll have to roll back some of these new posting rights. I hope that won't be an issue. Happy posting!
