I will be representing Wolf PAC at the Occupy Lawrence GA meeting at 6pm CT in South Park, Lawrence, Kansas this evening and will attend as many as I can from now on. I encourage all other Wolf PAC organizers to attend local GA meetings and spreading the word and recruiting for Wolf PAC. If you have done this already or begin doing it, please use the thread to report back on feed back and recruitment and fundraising successes so we can all learn what is working in terms of representing Wolf PAC. Any advice or support from Wolf PAC National, Occupy force multipliers and the TYT staff would be appreciated here, too. In solidarity, Brady Swenson @bswen Wolf PAC Kansas wolfpackansas@gmail.com @wolfpackansas www.facebook.com/WolfPACKansas

We got an Anti Corp Personhood proposal through our GA in Portland Oregon so a workgroup formed around that can work towards that goal with Occupy Portland's name. I believe the workgroup would be interested in working with Wolf PAC.
I will introduce the idea of fund raising for Wolf PAC as in Oregon we can donate $50 per person and $100 per married couple towards a PAC and get all the money back at the end of the year as a political tax credit.

I won't say that it's bad to get Wolf-Pac people at Occupy GAs, but I'd like to suggest taking a step back and noticing that Occupy events aren't exactly the center of power in the US political system. If you're willing to go to speak at an Occupy GA, you might also consider going on down to your local city council to address the council. Or maybe the local universities' public meetings. Basically, anywhere people with influence can be exposed to the idea that we all know the political system is broken because of corporate influence is a good place to go, but I believe that influencing people with influence is part of any winning strategy.
